Quantity by Area Calculator
Quantities, organised by where the work happened. Define the project areas once, and the calculator measures the work inside each one, splitting quantities and volumes that cross area boundaries between the areas they cross.

The idea
Define project space once. Then use those spatial definitions to organise and calculate engineering quantities.
The Quantity by Area Calculator combines project boundaries with sub-area metadata and automated, area-specific quantity reporting. The same piece of work geometry (an asphalt layer, an excavation, a pipe run) is attributed separately to every project area it crosses.

About the demonstration
The interactive demo above runs entirely in your browser. It uses a simplified example road scheme, or a DXF you provide (processed locally, nothing is uploaded).
Excavation and fill volumes in the demo are simplified demonstration values: intersection area × a representative depth. They are not surface-to-surface (TIN) volumes.
